NoiseHouse and 434NOISE present: NoiseHouse@Noisehouse SATURDAY, JUNE 6

Hello all!  On June 6th, we will be having a NoiseHouse in conjunction with 434NOISE down in Charlotte Court House, VA.  Why am I posting this instead of making a flyer?  Because I wanted to share some background as to how this came about.

I came up with the idea for NoiseHouse on my own in July 2008.  I threw the first NoiseHouse jam party in November 2008 and started recording NoiseHouses in January 2009.  When I was at NoiseHouse U.K in early May, someone mentioned that they had seen clips of past NoiseHouses on Youtube.  As I have not taken video at my DC NoiseHouses, I became curious.  Who had taken and put up video of our NoiseHouses?

I searched for NoiseHouse on Youtube and discovered 434NOISE, a noise collective in southern Virginia that puts on shows at a neighborhood venue known as the Noisehouse!  Jeff Hill, who runs 434NOISE, has been booking shows since 2004.  I contacted Jeff and, seeing as how we already share the name and the spirit, we decided to organize NoiseHouse@Noisehouse – a meeting of the NoiseHouses!

The jam starts at 5:30PM on Saturday, June 6.  Please RSVP to me before Friday, June 5 if you would like to accompany the DC contingent to Charlotte Court House, VA.  More information may also be found on the 434NOISE website under Shows.  This promises to be a most entertaining and epic evening!!

Thanks For Playing!

I’d like to thank everyone who came out to the first NoiseHouse@Soundry last night, especially the folks who came out from Madison High School! I unfortunately lost some of this NoiseHouse’s audio due to a recording mishap, but we’ve still got over 2 hours of sound which I will be podcasting late tonight or early tomorrow. Check back here for information about upcoming NoiseHouses. Hope to see you at the next one!
